It's pretty raw to be honest. The Bluetooth is ridiculously fast. I had a 14' 435 and it always took 15 seconds to connect, on new idrive it's about 2. Messages pop up which is nice. The display is very crisp and responsive which I enjoy. Not too sure what to mention or not to mention that wasn't on 16s. If anyone has things to look for, I'll shed light.

When the dealer went over the car during delivery did they explain the BMW Connected drive and WiFi hot spot?

When reading the manual it seems (to me) that the car "copies" your phone's SIM information and while in the car the car acts as a proxy for your phone meaning the car is making the call not the phone and the devices in the car teether to the car's hotspot not the phone's hotspot? Is the former and latter correct, just the latter or neither?

Lol I think I got it. The genius mentioned it would be a trial with ATT but I haven't read anything on a time constricted basis. Is a simple setup, you just turn on wifi on your phone and enter pass key.

As far as how much it was?

I didn't pay anything extra. It was included like the 7 series.

Did you get Apple Carplay as well? Curious how well it integrates. Hoping they release Android Auto soon.

Did you test out the wireless charging?

No CarPlay, and saw wireless charging. Haven't had a chance to use it yet. I will debate making a video soon. Lol

With 5.0 though I am almost 80% positive it will come with an update.
