Curbs are not 90 degrees it appears. Looks like s/he was trying to do a u turn but got hung up. Last car was an SUV perhaps.

Completely agree with you, especially about that last comment.

The point is, with respect to the OP's pic, we can speculate about how one manages to put an M2 into such an unflattering position, and jump to conclusions about how it must have been some spoiled 18 year old kid trying to re-create scenes from Fast & Furious, but as Dabozo said, it could have been just someone trying to do a u-turn, and for whatever reason had a lapse of judgement and didn't realize how high the curb was. No different from forgetting to check your blind spot before changing lanes. True, good drivers should not be making dumb mistakes like these, but that 0.01% of the time that we f*** up is what equalizes us all. I'm just grateful that the few times I've let my guard down, no one was hurt.
