Coilovers on a leased car

Worth doing it? Do you have to switch back to stock suspension when turning the car in?

Almost everybody's doing it. And yes, you have to take it off when returning the car.

It is for sure worth doing it, gives the car a much nicer look. You'll have to take them out and put the stock suspension back in when the lease is up. Recommend kW coils, great ride quality and also great warranty

Looking at Bilstein B14s, although a little apprehensive about the drop.

how much of a drop do you want? do you have Adaptive dampers?

are you more looking for a tight ride or a lowered car.

Looking for a stiffer suspension with reduced body roll. Not really looking for a drop.

I've got a stock OEM M sport suspension from a 2012 328i Sportline. 48K on the setup with zero issues on it. Will give you a 10mm drop which is nothing really and stiffer m sport shocks.

It's OEM BMW equipment so you could probably leave it on at lease turn in and nobody would even notice.

$300 and we split shipping.

not a bad idea. a $900 coilover system is junk. sorry not trying to be rude.

Not necessarily. I just installed the Bilstein B14 PSS kit on my car and honestly it doesn't ride much different than the stock M Sport setup. The PSS kit goes for around $950ish.

Fair enough. i just had a $1200 H&R coilover system on my S4 back in the day... hated it.

Ended up with the KWV3 and it was night and day... but that was over 3K.

I don't think it will work with my xDrive.

Are you running run-flats?

throw some MPSS on there with even a +1 inch rim if you want.. you would be amazed how much of a difference tires makes.

I just don't think the cost is worth it. your looking at $2000 all said and done.

another thought would be to get some dinan springs... it's only a 20mm drop and the ride is much much better, not so floaty (and it's dirt cheap).

Did you consider KW Street Comfort coilovers for your xDrive vehicle? They cost approx. $1,600.

Yes, I'm considering them. They cost a little more than my budget, but you get what you pay for I guess.
