Stock Exhaust with NO tips

I really like the look of the BMW performance exhaust without the CF or titanium tips. I dig the raw look. I was wondering what the stock exhaust looked like without any tips on it. Does anyone have a pic by chance?

They do slip on, this post shows he had them cut off to fit aftermarket cabon tips. Not representative of a std. Exhaust with chrome tips removed.

Ahhh. So......back to my question, are there any pics with them just removed as opposed to cut off?

that's the m performance exhaust. not the factory M2. I just tried pulling one of the tips off and it did not seem to want to budge an inch. Anyone know how to get them off? Without destroying them?

Really? They pulled off super easy for me. Left side just fell right off LOL right side was a little bit harder, just used some good ole elbow grease and some cursing

Also here's a link to DIY for M3 that iND did:

OK, well I guess I will have to try a little harder. I have pulled them off in the past these just seem rather difficult. I am still looking for a pic of an M2 without the tips just to make sure it is the look that I want.

I didn't take a pic with the tips off but it's looked identical to the MPE with no tips. Here's a pic i found, basically the same look:

Thanks, I have seen that pic. I was wondering if the piping was the same size?

I think the stock exhaust pipes are larger at 70mm. The MPE is 60 something, dont remember the exact size. Search the M4 forum for the pipe size as they are the same as the M2 MPE.

Yep, i agree with what this guy said

After looking at that pic some more, MPE does look smaller compared to stock when i removed the tips but not that crazy of a difference.
