Leaking oil at just under 4k miles...

Well two days ago I noticed a burnt oil smell after going up a hill. I doubted it was my car. Today I smelt it again and was more than sure it was from me. Well popped the hood and saw it was leaking...Excuse the Sh*tty picture. Will take a better one in the morning.

Theyre replacing the gasket according to the service advisor.

EDIT (if anyone is interested since this thread is on fire): Turned out to be the "HIGH PRESSURE FUEL GASKET" which is kinda weird. Fuel gasket? really? lol but its oil

My 2014 435i (46K miles) just went in for service and service advisor alerted me to an oil leak before I saw any evidence. The leak came from the full-flow filter body (aka, oil filter housing) and fixed under warranty. Per my advisor, this is becoming more common now that they are starting to see high-mileage. They also noticed "cold-climate" vehicles develop this issue at a higher mileage than "hot-climate" vehicles.
