E90 Radio not working

Hello,

I have an E90 and I have fitted an aftermarket radio which has been working fine until now.

I have checked the fuses as per the fuse diagram the symbol that looks like the radio had fuse 2, 23 and 31. 2 and 31 was fine and there was no 23 so I assume it isnt needed.

What else/where else should I check? There is a faint radio station on one of my presets but it still has white noise. Could the actual arial be kaput? If so where is this and how do I check?

Is it only the radio that doesn't work?

Is it only the radio that doesn't work?
Does it play cd's or usb ?
If there is no sound it could be the amp if
you have one.

Nope USB, Bluetooth and aux work fine from the head unit so its not that at all.

It is literally just the radio signal that has suddenly gone.

I have heard that it could be the diversity antenna. But a little unsure where this is located in the saloon e90 3 series?

Or even where to buy one?

If the radio is coming on (getting power), then why check fuses? A blown fuse will cut the power. As a side note, since the head unit is aftermarket, it may not be getting its power from the same circuit as the original radio (it depends on how the installer wired it).

Either your radio has gone bad (unlikely), or you've lost connection to the antenna. First make sure it's still plugged into the back of the radio.
