Angry M2 437 Wheel Paint Code ?

I've managed to pick up the slightest gravel rash on one of my wheels. It's limited to the silver paint next to the tyre and is probably the size of a typical small finger nail.

An Internet search gives a vague " ferric grey metallic " code A80.

Can anybody confirm this or know of the correct code ?

Update for anybody in the future:

It turns out that the 437 is a combination of a painted and diamond cut/finished wheel.

What looks like the Grey portion is actually the diamond polished part which has been coated with a tinted lacquer. The black is obviously painted.

I've been fortunate enough to find somebody who knows what they're doing. The whole process took a couple of hours and the finish is flawless.

Happy to hear things worked out. Do you happen to have photos of before and after? I am sure you won't be the only one to have this issue.

Thanks,

Unfortunately not as it was the last thing on my mind.It was a very small rash, but enough of one to have had me in a bit of a flap lol.

As a side note these Michelin's don't have the most generous wheel protection and like you say I'm sure there will be quite a few of us looking for a repair.

Do you mind me asking who you used? I have similar damage on my X5 with similar diamond polished and lacquered rim and would also be good to know in the future for the M2 (although the missus won't be driving it much so I hold out more hope!!)
