Very nice, but I'm not sure the shoulder lines are correct on this rendering.

They just colored in the pictures of the prototype they tested recently

Not the first time they have done this and they have gotten it wrong before.

No surprise here! It does look like a smaller 7 but the proportions seem to look better. Can't wait to see the G31 that I won't be able to but thanks Bmw N/A!

Same licence plate (same car used for the render), different proportions and ride height (seams more reasonable)

I can almost pin point when I started to dislike BMW's. It's when they started connecting the headlights to the grills.

Looks like BMW is going with the one sausage different size approach that MB and Audi use. I always liked that the 5er was unique to the 3 and 7 (as far as the front end goes) but that doesn't look to be the case anymore as this simply looks like a smaller version of the 7.

I've seen the car in a customer preview last week and this render is a bit different. Close, but no cigar. The air vent in the front fender is different than the 7 Series' and the double character line is more outspoken than shown here.

That saying originated from BMW's in the 90s. I have no issue with "same sausage different lengths" as long as it's a tasty sausage.

These new bimmer-sausages took mighty tasty to me. I'm about to get out of my '14 M5 because the lease is over and I don't want another F10, but I'll definitely be ordering the '18.

I actually prefer the "same sausage, different lengths" philosophy. It helps keep an already very segmented product mix more coherent. Plus, they don't look too bad, either. Seems like I may be in the minority, however.

Different strokes.

Was just about to post this. They just photoshopped the camouflaged car.

But as you can see, people ITT can't read.
