Intermittent A/C not blowing out of vents?

Hello all,

Hoping for someone who might have experience with this..

Other day I was driving on a 4hr roadtrip in '13 335i and halfway through, the A/C stopped blowing out of the vents. It was still running, and the blower would turn on and off, but it would not come out of the vents. Engine temp was a little hotter than usual (5/8 instead of 3/8).

After getting to destination and cooling off, turned back on and everything was fine.

Any ideas??

Same thing happened to my wife 2014 435xi last weekend. I noticed the car getting hot and could not feel air coming out of the vents. Turned off the air for 20 minutes and it worked again with no problems. Not sure what caused it have a issue.

2014 F31....28000 mile....Today.... cool air drivers side/warm air passenger side when A/C engaged.

Scheduling appointment tomorrow... will update after warranty-repair work is done.

My blower sounds like it is on its last leg (extremely loud), having dealership take a look at it when they retrofit my comm box.

Can't get in with local dealer for 8 days.
Took to my Indy mechanic today.... just did a freon recharge til I get in next week.

Attached the ISTA procedure to replace the AC/heat blower and controller. Hopefully this helps.

Looks a heck of a lot easier to replace than the blower on my e36.
