Bluetooth Replacement Options
Hi All,
Hi have a late 2006 e90 330i with factory bluetooth and AUX, no USB. Over the 6 months, I noticed the radio or CD cut out for a few seconds at which point the bluetooth connection cuts out. Upon checking the radio, I can see '--' for the TEL option. Based upon my research here, I have 3 options: 1. Try to repair the unit in the boot - it's a MULF module made in Spain by Visteon. Has anyone had any success with this? 2. Replace with a MULF2. I don't want to start recoding etc therefore should I look for a MULF2 without high basis i.e. no usb and it should be plug & play. Please could someone kindly confirm if I have understood this or correct me. 3. Opt for a Parrot kit. I ideally want an OEM feel where I can use the steering wheel buttons however am not too fussed having a small control somewhere on the side if the cost difference is significant. I'd appreciate some options from those who have taken this route include pros & cons such as parking sensor noise loss when on the phone etc. Finally, happy to hear if anyone has item for 2 or 3 for sale - based on London, UK. Many thank in advance. PPK |

Go to the buy and sell board here or on ebay and buy a mulf 2 high. Its impossible to put anything in without some effort. OEM will require coding and there are people that will do it if you don't want to invest the time. There are many threads here on devices like the Dension. for help in the UK http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=704363 Last edited by ctuna; 09-27-2016 at 07:21 PM.. |
