I was going to get rid of my TSW rotary forged wheels, but this has me thinking almost 40lbs of rotating weight I'd better reconsider keeping the TSW's. I had no idea how much the oem 400M were so heavy even with non runflat Bridgestones.

The rear shaved off 8.8lbs and the front was even better 10.2lbs each! And they're 19" vs 18".

Oem setup Bridgestone pole position
F:225/45/18
R:255/40/18

TSW Michelin PSS
F:225/40/19
R:255/35/19

are the OEM wheels wrapped in runflats? those are definitely going to be heavier than the PSS. The TSW are nice and light and look great on your car. whats the widths you are running?

No, sorry forgot to mention that I'm running Bridgestone pole position S04 so it makes it even more noteworthy non run flats.

The TSW setup is front 19x8 et 35 225/40/19 front and rear are 19x9.5 et41 255/35/19.

I will say the rear tires could be 265/35 or 40 but they do look great none the less.

Thanks for the compliment.

nice to see 255 tires on 9.5 inches, looks definitely like 265 would give you more of a vertical sidewall rather than stretch look.

For sure it would look better. I had 265 on the rear before, but these tires were free from my friend so it's what went on.

The idea was the rims will sell with good tires on them .

According to tirerack the S04 Pole Positions are about the same weight as the S001 runflats. Most of the weight difference would be in the tires if I had to guess

Yeah just go on Tire rack and search any tire and any size and click on the specs. MPSS are pretty light. Continental ExtremeContact DW(S) are the lightest from what I have researched

These subjective tire talks are really just that. Subjective. I've heard continental losing their grip after driving them for awhile compared to potenzas. Not sure why potenzas are heavier maybe denser rubber. Who knows. I guess weight doesn't really matter if grip cam counteract it in acceleration. Food for thought.

Question, is your car lowered at all?
