On the back of the Professional radio head unit, what are the black and purple connectors at the bottom left in the picture below? I noticed that all units have the black connector, but only some have the purple. I'm thinking it's for the satellite radio antenna?

If my car doesn't have the sat radio antenna, and I get a head unit with the sat radio antenna connection, will I have any issues?

You can code sat radio off

What kind of radio do you need?

I have one for sale without say radio (i retrofitted one with sirius)

It is NOT logic 7 capable in case you have that.

I do have Logic 7, I think. How would I know? Can you tell just by looking at the head unit if it's Logic 7?

I have an 04/2007 E90 and just want a slightly newer head unit to get the new "gong" sound.

There are optical connectors in the main connectors
in the main connector area . All US e9x have most bus
not all e9x world wide do.
Optical connectors in the first picture are under the fuse.

Logic 7 has a center speaker. Do you have one?

All the hu in USA are identical in cosmetic appearance.

Yes I do believe I have the center speaker.

All of the Professional head units do look the same on the front, but on the rear some have different connectors.

Sirius radio antenna
