Very Minor build thread B58 inside :)

Finally got my 340i. Owned an E90 m3 for a little bit but it was not a good daily driver.

Funny note on the intake, I made my own....not knowing bms already had one hahaha.

Mods so far:

-JB4
-Intake
-BMS Exhaust Tips
-H&R supersport springs
-Resonator Delete
-Painted front and rear reflectors
-Painted (black) mirror covers
-JB4 phone mount (love this thing)

Mods Coming this week:

-12 & 15 MM spacers (burger tuning)
-Exhaust Cutout

I'd love to hear your thoughts on comparing the M3 and 340i. I've always wanted an M3 (mostly an E9X) but don't know if I can justify having 2 cars, or if I can get approval from my wife for getting a weekend only car. I have an X5 now that works awesome for the commute but isn't fun at all. If I only have 1 car it has to be AWD and my only hesitation is whether I'll regret never holding out for a real M. What's your impression of the 340i and how fun it would be as an only car.

Thanks everyone! HR Supersports coming friday along with BMS spacers. Just installed a JB4 over the weekend.... This thing rips!

Throw in a couple of mods and you won't feel the need for an M3

- JB4 for that increased torque we like
- Make that chassis a bit stiffer and precise with a choice of suspension, ARBs, and lower control arms and you're good to go

At least that's what I keep telling myself.

And anyway it's difficult to justify the cost (85kEUR = 95kUSD base price here) and related depreciation, insurance, financing and pollution tax (+10kEUR upfront penalty on top of the brand new car in France next year) for a weekend car.
