M240i Conv door rattles

Anyone have trim issues with the doors on their convertible? Mine have a rattle/ squeak on poor road surfaces

Looks like a trip back to the dealer. Annoying on a new car

Top up or top down?

If it's with the top up, the window seals have a common squeak that usually occurs once the rubber starts to dry out. People use Gummi pflege (https://amzn.com/B004B8GTQG) to fix this.

I never had the issue on my car, but depending on the build, humidity, heat it's possible that's where the squeak is coming from.

If it's rattling - that's another story, something may be loose in the door.

gummi pfledge on the rubber trim around the windows and it will be gone. been many months since my last application

as the others have said - this is for a squeak from the window that occurs when the top is up. if you have a rattle, different story (although i have noticed that an unused passenger side seatbelt may rattle at high speeds when the top is down (flapping) and it is not secured

Had a really bad rattle on my 335 convertible from inside the door, they had a trim removal tool and fixed it in about 15 minutes and it was a loose part that needed tightened down.
