//It is solved. I bought a set of textar pads for the rear brake. Applied some premtex disc brake quite lube to the back of the pad and some contact points. All good now

Don't think it is weather. It has been squeaking like this all year long since i took delivery last September. I tried 60-0 brake, not helping. Only squeaking in low speed and light brake, aka coming to a stop at red light, or pulling into a parking space. Wtf!!!

-------
Update 2016/10/31
Made a video about it, will take it in next week.

-------
Update 2016/11/09
Took it to dealership (I am in Ontario Canada)today. They said it is not covered under warranty so cost 45 bucks inspection fee. Wait for them to call me later about the result

------
Update 2016/12/01
The squeak is coming from rear.
Took it to another dealership (Budd's@Oakville Ontario). They verified the squeak but charge me 150 to do chamfer...not way. I went to a ind shop last week, the guy charge me 90 to chamfer, said 1 hr work. Another shop charge me 50, said half hour work. The first guy said I might have to change pad, he quoted me 150 for texstar pad. I called exopart in Mississauga, they quoted me 119 for TRW pad, said texstar does not make oe pad for f32??? Plus 150 is too steep, the first ind shop is ripping me off?

So, guys! Should I just spend 50 to chamfer it or 119+labor fee(probably 50 as well) to replace it? I already spent over 100 on lube and clean both front and rear axles. If chamfering still a waste of time and money, I will be really mad!

Mine squeaks like hell also. So annoying when taking off slow from a complete stop and it squeaks so loud. At first I thought it was the dust shield but wasn't the case. Hope there is a fix to this.

I hear ceramic brake has more noise than our regular M brake.....damn, should opt for regular brake when I order the car. Would save me a few bucks....

Same issue here. The dealer swapped out my front pads during my last service and the problem has only gotten worse. I tried a few 60-0 runs and it seems to help for a day or two at most. I'm at a loss

Some forum members had success eliminating the noise by replacing standard brake pads with M3 brake pads. Worth trying.

I am facing the same issue in my 328i with M-Sport brakes. I complained of this to my service adviser and he said that its a known issue and BMW doesn't have a fix. Sucks big time.

I have no issues with squealing on my M Sport Brakes with original and M3 pads.

I suspect you guys need to reapply: https://www.permatex.com/products/lu...s-lubricant-2/

Any tire shop can do it? Or dealer can do it for free if i keep bitching about it?

That's unusual and is indicative of an installation error.

The M Sport pads are actually "hotter" than the M Performance pads so the M Sport pads should have more noise.

Perhaps didn't apply brake lubricant (ie. Permatex) to the the areas specified in ISTAD.

Add me on to this list. Started to occur about a month ago. The SA at Passport BMW said it was due to my parking break. I knew he was full of shit and I am taking the care back in this week.

Yea this is the thing that annoyed me with my 335, I took it to the dealer to get pads replaced and rotors replaced.. They were never able to fix it.. this is why i wanted to get a 2016 instead of 2017 because BMW knows that a lot of people are having a problem with squeeking noise, i talked to a friend who's a manager and another friend that works in service at different BMW dealerships and they both said it is the number one thing people are coming in for. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me, they need to make it that all 340's come with Performance brakes to stop the continuos complaints from the market.
