Air conditioner musky smell question
Recently my car has been having the musky smell thing going on whenever i turn on the air conditioner. i found this video on how to use lysol to get rid of the mildew and smell but i cant find the proper place to spray the lysol on our vehicles. can someone help?

Just info, but GM makes a fungicide that sprays into grills at base of windshield, that stuff is strong.
But before you use Lysol? Have you gone on a long and fast drive with your heat turned to maximum high temp and your blower on high through all the vents - to burn out the bacteria ? Last edited by overcoil; 10-29-2016 at 08:59 PM.. |

On the 2 series it looks like you need to unscrew the black trim panel under the wipers to expose the intake grills for the HVAC. Actually TVTara I think has a YouTube video of her removing the associated panel on her 335.

Haha, yeah musty oops. And thanks for the help. I might call the service department to ask on Monday. The video is helpful but it doesn't look exactly the same in our cars. I'll try the heater thing also.
