CD text no workie

I just got my January build non-Idrive 330i.. I'd read here previously that the head unit could display CD text info, but it's not working. My discs are definitely all properly dubbed with it and it displays fine on my Kenwood head unit in the Scirocco. Was the earlier info I read wrong, or ... ? I'm not talking MP3 song titles here but CD text.

Sharp1183 told me about the CD text feature. I used Nero to burn mp3's into an audio CD, and it worked fine. In fact, the only program I came across that had the CD text option was Nero.

Has anyone used anything else to burn your own audio CD's with working CD text? I know iTunes and Windows Media Player do NOT have a CD text option when making audio CD's.

I've used Feurio! to burn all of my CDs, all of which have CD text and it displays fine in my other car. I also have Nero and my try it. Can't understand why current discs don't display unless my car for some reason doesn't support it at all.

If you have a Mac, use Toast 6 or 7. it works like a champ!
CD Text will display on my Sony car-stereo, Sony DVD Player, my friends Panasonic Car-stereo too. iTunes does not have CD-Text support :-(

You can burn CD-Text with Roxio Easy CD/DVD Creator too, plus much more. Toast is Roxio's Easy CD Creator for Mac.
