Brake reset impossible - CBS

I replaced the sensor with a good one (tested and confirmed continuity). The CBS won't allow me to reset the service interval. It gives a "Reset Impossible" error.

Any suggestions?

Even though you tested the sensor, try unplugging the sensor and then resetting the service interval.

Yes, I tested the new and old sensor. Old was bad, new is good. Unplugged, re-seated, attempted reset - still would not allow a reset.

I meant keep it unplugged and then try to reset it.

I ended up taking it to an a local shop. Hooked it up to Rheingold. The error had registered as "permanent". He cleared it and now it's good. Next time, I'll just have to reset it before the countdown gets to 0.

make sure the clock/date is set that will prevent reset since it can't set the new service date.
