Introducing the PURE Stage1 B58 Turbo Upgrade

Just wanted to let you guys know, that PURE released a stage1 Upgrade..

BMW B58 Stage 1 Upgrade

- Custom Billet Compressor wheel

- High Speed VSR Balanced

On stock car other than an air filter and 93 octane we gained over 30whp and 20ft/lbs with no tune.
On same stock car with only an air filter, JB4, and 93 octane / meth we made 481.18whp and 437.84 ft/lbs

Don't want to turn this into a price discussion but you can check the vendor classifieds for that info..

First car to have these install (BMS Test Car for B58 Development)

2016 340i B58 back from PURE with the Stage1 turbo installed. JB4 tuning for it is still a work in progress but turbo response is almost as good as stock and so far no problems making around 30whp more than the stock turbo up top.

The test vehicle is running the JB4, BMS B58 intake, BMS WMI, and PURE S1 turbo. Exhaust and emissions equipment all 100% unmodified. Boost juice and ~95 octane.

The above dyno so far (@ 23psi) The stock tuning seems to run the turbo just fine at stock like boost levels. BMS did a few runs up to 25psi (the current boost cap setting in the B58 JB4) and while it wanted to make more power there are a few tuning glitches they will have to tweak first. Hope to see 500whp with this thing shortly.

Ya sometimes there is a benefit with the N55/B58 LOL Especially for Turbo Upgrades.

Probably right around the same price as an N55 stage 1. Maybe a bit more being its a newer more premium item. PM them.

I so wish they'd put the b58 in an M2

I wonder how well this would work on 340i with MPSSK. How hard is the install?
