Sub install

Started to mess around and get my idea going. I'm not trying to get crazy loud bass, but I am looking to make this look as good as possible. Would love some ideas on how to attach this panel, if I should build a box off of this or leave it set up for IB/free-air use, and if I should wrap it black or gray carpet? Any input is appreciated.

Also, this was way harder than it looked. Anyone have ideas on how to make templates easy? I used cardboard, but the angle was a pita so it's not perfect.

Man-toys!

Figured I would wire things up and have it all ready for when the amp arrives. I tend to get a little impatient, so this gives me a small sense of accomplishment and keeps my brain busy

Got bored again...

Took a ride to a few stores to see what I could pick up for a decent price compared to Amazon. Found a Kenwood 500 rms @ 2 ohms
Perfect fit in that little area too!

Still plugging along. Best match I could find, I'm pretty happy with the color

Actually managed to get everything finished and in the car. Sounds decent, louder than I thought it would be, it's definitely gonna need the gains turned way down!

May add a very dim LED over the sub at some point

Finally got around to adding in the brackets to hold the panel tight against the rear seats, definitely helped with accuracy and volume. Just gotta cover the back with some carpet and she'll be 100%
Probably going to use a heavier brackets though because I started to bend these two a little bit. Never ends!

Anyone know if the rear folding seats come apart, like if the back panel can be removed to put wires maybe?
