does anyone know if the catless DP sold by VSFR with CEL delete pass NYS inspection?

You'll pass with DP's in NY as long as you have only 1 monitor unready and the check engine is cleared with a flash tune

yes but make sure not to leave the CEL Delete in, it will mess up the A/F ratios in the car, you shouldn't even need it to pass

so what's the CEL delete for? do you have it on your car and do you have any check engine lights on?

its used to trick the o2 sensor into thinking its running clean enough for inspection, but tricking the computer can affect the long term performance of the car. i've never had any issues on my previous 2008 335i running VRSF dp along with secondary cat delete and JB4 (turned off obviously) passing inspection.

No, oddly enough even when I turned the Jb4 off to plug into the inspection machine it was all good. Do you have a Jb4?

no I have a cobb v3 but some told me the flash tunes with cobb would get rid of it. Someone also told me in NYS you can pass inspection with 1 fault code. so I'm on the fence about getting the CEL delete or not since it's an extra 100 bucks..

No it's not with one code, its monitors, all but one can be ready and you'll pass any codes and you fail
