E92 LCI 335i - £13k, priced to sell
Selling my much loved 335i
This has had a lot of TLC, I am absolutely gutted to see it go, it's always been run on Shell V Power, 2 bucket washed every weekend and detailed with top of the range products such as Definitive Wax, Zymol, Chemical guys etc. This is a properly sorted car, it is a 2010 LCI E92 335i, it comes with the latest N55 Engine block, this is a lot more reliable than the N54 block, the stock car has more torque than the N54, it's only weakness, the Vanos Bolts have been changed as part of recall. The car comes with the superb DCT gear box, the gear changes are rapid and buttery smooth. The car has the new version of the 313 alloys which are offer better resilience to cracking, the alloys have relatively new Good year Assymetric 2 tyres(< 5k miles). The car is still under warranty and has a service pack on it until mid of this year. Under my ownership the car has had the following mods - Genuine BMW Performance Grills - M3 Lip Spoiler - Performance Diffuser - M3 Carbon Fibre Cloth interior trim - LED Interior Lights / M3 type Marius Speedo mod - BMW Performance Exhaust (sounds divine) - Evolve FMIC - Uprated Front ARB (Hotchkis) - Birds Suspension - Quaife LSD [The above mods makes the car go like it is on rails] - This car possibly has one of the best Audio systems on the Forum
The sound is very clean, balanced and packs a nice thump The car is @ 77,800 miles, I am the second owner, the car has had Full BMW service history. It's just had a major service today [10/12/16], filter/oil/spark plugs changed @ Chandlers brighton @ £465 * the car does not come with an iDrive, I wasn't too bothered as it's usually the integrated systems which date faster than the car itself (CCC as an example is worth nothing these days), for me the most important thing was the audio, which I have spent close to 4k upgrading, I use Waze for satnav purposes and find it to be excellent, but I appreciate the other side of the argument too. I am looking for 13k with all mods inc, not looking to strip parts at the moment. Some pics A couple of bad points - Some idiot has scraped the front bumper (driver side), has some scratches, the front bumper has stone chips as I do 25k a year, a respray would be suggested - Audio has intermittent crackle from front left speaker whilst on rough road, this to me suggests a loose connection, Makkan77 is not working on E90s any longer, so unsure who to go to, to get this fixed, as said this only happens when on bumpy roads, returns to full glory on smooth roads - usual kerbing of passenger side alloys. Above are factored into the price

I've always found classified ads on Ebay best for selling cars. You set an auto responder on there to decline offers less than a certain amount. This weeds out a lot of the timewasters and avoids your phone constantly ringing with them. As long as the car is as described, there should be no reason for someone to turn up and haggle, especially since you've already agreed a price via ebay.
Thank me when you car sells on there. Reading through your ad, Ironically - had this car had CIC I probably would consider buying it. Just can't justify dropping 13k on a car that doesn't have satnav or ease of browsing through my music tracks etc. mods probably won't affect the price, still a BMW 335i at the end of the day. Best of luck selling, the DCT is awesome from the reviews I've read and is the only gearbox I'm looking for at the moment. Free bump! |

Re: CIC, I had it on my e90, was not a big fan to be honest, the satnav was dated, I almost always used Waze and not CIC, it was a painfully slow process loading songs to the hard drive and there was only so much it could store, I prefer using my USB drive A 335i is a perf car, if I were in the market for one, I would care about it having a limited slip diff, a properly sorted birds suspension, a heavenly sounding performance exhaust etc for entertainment I have the most amazing of audio systems, but anyways that is only me |

Great I don't mind a part exchange with a 330 or a 335d, would prefer decent spec, lci if possible and low miles if possible else could be looking at money on top

Looks like a lovely example! Got some great mod's too GLWTS.
I do similar mileage in my car in a year, what sort of MPG where you seeing? I'd love a n55 335i but running one for 25k miles p/a would kill me! Wayne. |
