2011 Bmw e90 ( not prewired ) Aftermarket Alarm options .

As the tittle says, my 2011 bmw 3 series came with no factory alarm and it is not prewire. I called the dealership and they told me " forget about it , its too expensive, too complicated and we will not install it " . Now, I will be moving to a building with no underground parking. I'd really love to have an 1 way alarm at least instead of nothing. I know these cars are almost impossible to steal , but vandalism , rims etc are my concern right now. I would rather keep my factory key fob to arm and disarm the aftermarket alarm system.

I would like to hear from your experiences ....Any suggestion ?

Actually modern cars are very easy to steal with the
right hacking device. There is a hacking device that can
actually read and clone your security codes and fob settings
and spoof them . (No hot wiring or breaking thing involved)
If you want to get OEM you have to get a kit with all the
wiring which kind of defeats the reason you would get one
because they used to cost about 250 with the wiring already
in the car and you could code it in yourself.
I would be looking at aftermarket solutions if the wiring wasn't
there already that would provide a second level of security.

I found this "BMW Brand OEM Genuine E90 E90N E92 Theft Alarm System Retrofit Kit Brand New" on eBay for $450 plus shipping / PLUS Rear view mirror with the "clown nose" $200 / PLUS Rear door latch (internal component) - $199.95 / PLUS coding ( $200?) / ..... just do the math, it does not make any sense. Ive seen couple of options , compustar, viper ...Just want to be sure what is the best option for my car. Remote starters are cool, specially living in Canada but I think i can live without one .
