Headlight washer won't retract
Just recently when I use my headlight washers, they work fine, but one of the jets wont retract into the bumper, leaving it just sticking out!
I can push it back it and with encouragement it does retract. Do to replace the unit or is there a quicker fix? Any suggestions appreciated! *Its an F12 640d, and posted on 6er forum, though hoping better traffic here will help! Tom

I've only had that problem when the water in the pipe freezes. Presumably it's not cold enough yet for that, so maybe it's picked up a bit of dirt that's making it stick?
Could you get someone to operate the washers while you pour a bit of hot water on to clean it up? |

That used to be a problem on my E92.....the amount I watched fly off because they failed to retract at speed was painful. It tended to the springs that had corroded or come off at one end.
