I used the official BMW Load Sill Protective Cover - like in the link above.

Its much better for pushchairs as it protects the whole back of the bumper as well as the sill, not just the sill like those other kind. Pushchair in and out many times and not a mark anywhere on the bumper.

I actually still have mine, BMW part number 51472158185 if interested. £50 delivered.

I fitted one of these:

Sturdier than bumper film and more resistant to scratches from our dog.

Not my pics but you get the idea, mine was identical. Looking around actually think a fair price is £30 delivered.

yeah, it goes down to just above the parking sensors

I also fitted one of these - covers the whole of the boot and really good fit and for stopping any marks on the inside

You even still get access to the under boot areas without taking the whole thing out.

This is what i have, cheap simple and effective. Tartan blanket lined with a plasticky coating, sitting under a rubber boot mat.

Tartan side towards the paintwork means it doesn't have heavy rubber against the paint.

thanks mate. I take it it just protects the sill and it's not a boot liner as well?

Yeah just does the bumper and sill, though it's long enough to place in the boot on the floor to stop a bit of rubbish if you needed it to but it's not designed as a boot floor liner
