PPF & Side Gills

I'm about to have full front clip PPF applied and my detailer is willing to remove the kidney grills and side gills for a seamless appearance.

My question is, I want to keep the stock side gills but once removed the double sided tape will not be re-usable. What are my options? It looks like there's a neatly cut outline of double-sided tape that comes with replacement gills but that's a waste of money to buy new ones. Any ideas?

Right now I'm assuming I will have to re-cut new tape the best I can (or my detailer will).

They can reuse the double sided tape or you can buy some at any auto supply shop, it's super easy the detailer/clear film installer will be able to take care of it for you.
