What is Logic 7 and is it any good?

Just found out I have it in my car lol
Not sure what benefits it has, but I was thinking to put a sub in a trunk - any plug n play solutions I can buy? Looking for something easy and prewired to just plug it in. Sorry if it's a beaten to death question, I'm really new to sound

P.S. Should I have subs under the seats?

Logic 7 is the highest level of audio level you can get for the 3 series. Any higher than Logic 7 would be the Individual Audio package which I think only certain models like the M3 can get.

Before 2009 I believe, all 335i came standard with the premium Logic 7 audio 9 speaker system. After that, they decide to cheap out and make more money by creating 3 different levels of audio system you can purchase with the car. It ranges from Base, Hi-Fi and Logic 7. So in short, you have the best audio the car can come with from the factory. However, the downside is if you want to do any aftermarket upgrade, it will be a pain in the butt as it uses fiber optic cables.
