Help needed with deciding options for 530e

Hello guys, its that time of the year(?) again!

I am preparing to order the 530e with an estimated delivery of early summer. Here are specs of the configured vehicle as it stands now, questions follow below.

Standard Equipment
LED headlights
Brake Energy Regeneration
Interior rear-view mirror with automatic anti-dazzle function
LED rear lights
Servotronic
Driving Experience Control with Adaptive mode
Cruise control with braking function
eDRIVE Button
Partially electric seat adjustment for drive and front passenger
Hands-free facility with USB interface
Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)

Package 956
Runflat Tyres (FOC w/28Y)
Smoker's Package
Park Distance Control (PDC)
Apps
BMW Display Key
Roller Sunblinds for Rear Window (Electric) & Rear Side Windows
LED Fog Lights (FOC w/7S2)
Rear View Camera
Glass Roof, Electric
Fine-Wood Trim 'Fineline' Cove (FOC w/7S2)
Exterior Mirrors with Automatic Anti-dazzle Function
Ambient Light (FOC w/7S2)
Automatic air conditioning with 4-zone control
CD Player
Sport Automatic Steptronic Transmission
Sport Leather Steering Wheel (FOC w/7S2)

Additional Equipment (options I added)
19" light alloy wheels W-spoke style 663 Bicolour with mixed tyres
Harman Kardon surround sound system
Luxury Line
BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line
BMW Head-Up Display
Adaptive headlights
Additional 12V power socket
Comfort seats front, electrically adjustable
BMW Individual headliner anthracite

Questions:

1. Paint
I currently drive a Sophisto Grey 520d or a Singapore Grey M5 LCI (depending on the city I am in), the 530e will be replacing the 520d. I love the grey tones on the 5 but I feel a third would be too much of the same. Notable alternatives are Carbon Black, Sapphire Black, Bluestone Metallic or Azurite Black.....and a remote possibility of Mineral White. I am still waiting on the quote for the AB Individual paint but if its reasonably within my budget I would like to take the risk, although I am not too keen on a blue shade but from what I have seen online of the AB it has the potential to look stunning. Thoughts?

2. Interior
Whats a good combination with Sapphire Black or AB, the two most likely contenders? My 520d interior is Oyster with Black (not too keen on this again, too difficult to maintain) while the M5 interior is Black (not again, too dark on an already dark car).

3. Other options
Have I missed out on any options that would make sense? I have asked to add the following options as well:

ZX3 Surround view/3D view (thoughts?)
552 Adaptive Full LED Headlights (better, right?)
5AC Automatic high beams (any point?)
6NW Telephony with Wireless Charging
223 Dynamic damper control (useful?)
6NS Enhanced telephony (vs 6NW?)
6WB Multi-function instrument display (what is difference from STD display?)
4U1 Ceramic controls (feel like getting this now)
4AW Instrument panel in Sensatec (as opposed to what?)

Any advice on the above?

4. Sports Line vs Luxury Line
My main reason for not opting for the Sports Line is the fear that the road clearance for the vehicle would be too low to safely negotiate the many irregularly constructed speed bumps and potholes. Is this a justified reason? Is there significant difference in road clearance for both lines?

5. Steering wheel
Standard or Sports? I am still not sure about the difference between both.

6. Apple Car Play
I do not see this as an option on the list provided to me. Is this not available on the 530e? What is the option code? I foresee myself keeping this car for the next 4-5 years so would like to be as future-proof as possible.

4. I believe only cars with M-sport suspension (code 704) is lowered, and only 10mm. So both Luxury and Sport line should be standard height as I see it.

5. Looks like sport is standard, and the only other option is the M-sport steering wheel.

Standard

M-sport

6. Apple Car Play is code 6CP.

Thanks for the reply and sharing details.

By road clearance I wasn't just referring to the overall vehicle height but more relevantly the front bumper. The M-style bumper on the Sports Like seems to be bigger with a taller stance as opposed to the non-sport bumper. I'm afraid the bumper will scrape against speed bumps and potholes if there is indeed a difference in heights. Is that a valid concern?

I drive a lowered f10 with an extra front lip, and speed bumps are never a problem. Inclines and ramps can be.
So I would not worry about OEM height.

Darrko, Please what is package 956? I believe there is no package like that for UK sourced BMW G30

Regarding the interior, what about Colgnac Brown leather?

I think Package 956 is the Luxury Line as I was told selecting that automatically gives me all the mentioned options, though I could be wrong. Btw this is not being ordered in the UK, maybe its different in the Asian region.

Cognac Brown leather? Thanks I'll check it out.

Does anyone know if you do not select the ProNav option, does that mean you get a smaller screen like the F10?

German pricelist says there will be a smaller 8.8" business navi available as standard in the 1. quarter of 2017.
Before that, I assume you have to get the ProNav if it's not already included like it is in the US and UK.

That's a pity, I was hoping the screen size would be the same. A lot of Third World countries aren't covered by BMW Maps so its basically a waste of money getting that option for me. I am also concerned that 3D/Surround View is only available with Pro Nav.

Do we have any info on what trim parts are replaced in the Ceramic Controls option? Does it include the gear shift?

Thanks, I was afraid the gear shift lever wasn't included as reported by someone here who saw the vehicle IRL.

This is what it is right now, help me decide. The risk of choosing M Sports Package is that this option comes with a lowered suspension which, in combination with M Aerodynamic front & rear bumpers, would be difficult to drive on my city roads with numerous irregular speed bumps. AFAIK the M Sports bumper is 10mm lower than the regular bumper but along with a lowered suspension would make it worse.

Options I want are
Individual High Gloss Shadowline
Ambient Light
Alcantara headliner
Leather seats
Not too keen on Aluminum Rhombicle trim

If I select Luxury Line and order M Sports bumpers separately it will cost me about $12K extra (inclusive of local paint job and finish) and can only be ordered once I have the VIN.

Normally when choosing the M sport package, you can delete the 704 M sport suspension so you get the standard suspension, or you can get the 223 VDC suspension.

Do you think the car will look odd with M Sports bumpers but no option 704?

No, a lot of M sport 5 series doesn't have the 704 m suspension as they have VDC or Adaptive Drive instead which doesn't lower the car. And the difference is only 10mm.

Just for future reference, VDC includes the 10mm drop in the M550i "Adaptive M Suspension"
