Hey guys,

I've got the base audio in my '11 E90, with the USB input in the center console. I've been using it to play mp3s without issue since I got the car a year ago.

This week I've been having a weird issue. The playback will freeze, and there is no audio. I am able to navigate through the folders, but selecting a new artist or track has no effect, it'll still say it's playing whatever song it froze on. This doesn't seem to be an issue with the file it's playing, as it's been songs I've played through without issue more than once.

If I remove the USB, even if I restart the car, it will still show the same track as being currently played. This is even if I put in a different USB drive.

Also, if I turn the stereo off altogether, it will display as off, and 30 seconds later or so, it will play FM radio just for a second, without the stereo displaying as on.

It's done this with two different USB drives so far, one of them fresh out of the package with a few folders dumped onto it that haven't given me issues before.

Has anyone else had an issue like this?
