Adaptive damper lifespan - coilover vs springs/shockware

So, I'm looking into options for suspension as I continue to work on my 2013 328i xDrive..

I have the adaptive suspension, but am currently at 64000 miles and will likely put another few thousand on before I actually get to the suspension.

My question is this - what is the expected life of the adapted dampers? I'm trying to decide between going with coilovers (thus losing my push-button suspension variability since I'm not dropping 3.5k on the adaptive coilovers) OR going with Dinan Shockware and springs (Dinan vs H&R).

Any insight is greatly appreciated, the search function yielded limited information on this subject. I'm looking for a tasteful drop and solid handling but this is a DD not a track car so nothing crazy.

Thanks,

-tgm

I'm at 53k now, 40k with Dinan Springs. I don't have their Shockware, I was over in Germany when I installed them three years ago, and with Bilstein releasing their suspension sometime in March, I'm holding out. That said I've had zero issues so far with just the springs.

Adaptive coilovers? K&W have them, Bilstein perhaps soon if I read the threads correctly.

Yes, but they are expensive $$$ .. We'll see what the Bilstein prices are like when they come out.
