VDC , how does it work? (seems a lot of reviews are favouring this)
It appears a lot of reviews are favouring VDC.
My question is how does it work? I'm no expert at this hence the question but my understanding is that there are 2 parts to the suspension, the springs and the dampers in respect of ride comfort -or not.(I'm keeping it simple) I assume the springs determine how hard or soft the ride is and the dampers , well they stop any further oscillations.(They dampen any further movements) So if VDC stands for variable damper control how does that effect the ride? Surely the springs would be the variable here? Have I got that right or completely wrong? Would welcome someone who knows explaining. Thanks |

Its very similar to the 7 Series one
Basically the electronics can change how fast or slow the dampers compress or extend
