helmholtz resonator For my f30 335i w/ muffler delete

I was skeptical about doing a muffler delete on my BMW but after hearing it in person I fell in love and pulled the trigger. I was aware about the slight drone issue since I'm running straight pipes from the turbo all the way back (catless dp and resonator delete. I've heard about the helmholtz resonator fix as well as the vibrant resonator. I know they're for high frequencies and not drone related low frequencies but a lot of people said it helped for sure.

Now my concerns is, I LOVE the pops and crackles on deacceleration and I was wondering if installing either the helmholtz resonator (j-pipe) or vibrant resonator will make the pops and burbles go away. I've done a lot of research on the topic and haven't found an answer. Also does the placement of the resonator make a difference in taking away the pops and burples?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I remember someone like a year ago selling a muffler delete system with j pipe welded jn as well, he claimed there was no drone. Scientifically, if you calculate the right frequency, a j pipe has to work.

Yes the burble will go away. I had a delete, hated the civic sound, put in magnaflos straight throughs but the drone was insane. Did the math and put on jpipes and that wasn't enough noise and killed my burble tune. Then I decided to cut open one side of the jpipes and it a perfect mix of sound, super minimal drone and straight through sound with burble.

I have mufflers and Dow pipe with no resonator and mine pops and bangs. You should be fine with a resonator

The factory N55 has burbles and occational bangs on upshifts...so I am not sure what you ask about.

Mine with factory muffler and catless DP (see last 10 sec in the video) - have other videos with exhaust notes on my channel also:
