M BBK rear disc part number

hi all,

i'm retrofitting M yellow BBK on my 328. Bought it used from a member here who had a 335.

I was looking on REALOEM if I had all what i need, but for the rear disc there's two part number and can't confirm which one I need.

a)Brake rotor, ventilated, drilled, rear 345X24 2 34206797598
b)Brake rotor, ventilated, drilled, rear 345X24 2 34206797600

Same description. same size, different numbers. b) is the same on the 335. so i guess i'll just try to install it on my 328.

Plus, I don't have the protection plate front/rear. Where to buy cheap ones, don't wanna go the OEM route for almost useless back plate.

anyone can help?

The different numbers are for the different rear hub sizes.

You should be able to see which one you need using your vin on realoem?

Xdrive or not? That's what dictates rear rotors and hubs.

The front backing plates I see no way to workaround. Just get the oem stuff. Can't be big $$.

I have a set of unused, brand new rear backing plates for the m brake kit. PM me if interested.

Yes - 590 uses smaller dia parking brake shoes and 600 uses a larger OD parking brake shoe inside hub.
