What brake pads should I look at?

So my car is counting down from 4700k miles until the front pads want replacing, but honesty.. it feels dangerous. Lately I have had to do a lot of driving in light and heavy rain and the brakes have been stupidly useless. Usually in the rain they become alive and turn really grippy, but ever since the indicator started counting down it's like they are non existent until you really flatten the brake peddle out.

Is it worth looking at different pads or just getting the same stock pads that came with my m sport? I'll be fitting them myself.

Any recommendations are highly appreciated! I just want insane grippyness again

Have a look at Stoptech Sport and Porterfield R4-S. These aren't dustless, but do dust less than OE, but will still provide more linear and sufficient brake torque than OE.
