Really weird sound on cold start

Hey guys,

I cold started my car today to pick up something and opened the hood to unplug the battery tender and heard a really weird sound coming from the oil filter area. I posted a video of the sound below. Typically I don't get too concerned about small noises because our N54s make some crazy ticks and sounds normally but this just seemed weird. The noise sounds like it's coming from the oil filter area but I couldn't really pinpoint the actual source, this is just where it was loudest.

When I put my hand on the filter cover the sound gets quiet, so I think it's just echoing or coming out through that plastic

Here's the video where you'll hear the sound and see my bashed finger lol:

There are two springs in the oil filter housing area: One is thermostat for the oil to flow through to the cooler, the other a valve so the oil doesn't flow backwards. If the spring broke maybe there would be a sound, but I suspect something else downwards of the area is making a sound. Can try a mechanic's stethoscope to try to pinpoint it. Only when cold?

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to take it apart now and check the two springs
