Front door speakers problem
Hello all
Ive got problem with front door speakers. Rear and sub. are working ok...but front nomather how much i raise volume its always the same sound in them.I mean i can barely hear sound from them. Maybe problem is in wiring, something get "loose"? I dont think they are blown couse i would hear much worse noise from them. Anyone got it too? I can make video of it but not sure will you get close picture of what i talk about Any advice? |

Is your setup stock? If so, which option?
Have you checked to make sure it isn't faded to the rear in your tone menu? |

Just to confirm (IIRC the US Base system may be different than EUR), our base system only has single 4" door speakers, no tweeters in the sails. Is that the system you're talking about? Or is your base our HIFI which has both 4" mids and tweeters in the doors.

Are you sure the underseats are operating at normal volume? If you fade 100% front, then left and right, is there a difference between right and left? |

front circuit in base system is bridged via underseat midbass speaker
is can be that you damaged midbass speaker or wiring and there is problem, you need to check wire to midbass speaker

So, if you think the underseat is sounds ok, then I'd start with the door speaker, then the wiring between the undrseat and the door speaker.
Youtube a video for pulling the door panel, and check out the speaker. You could bench test with another source, or swap the door speakers left to right to confirm. If the underseat is also getting a bad signal, it could be the underseat woofer, head to woofer wiring, or the front left amp channel on the head unit. |
