coilover fit question
Hi folks, I need some clarification on suspension fitment for my 2012 328i base model. I'm considering some Bilstein B16s comforts part number 48-229012. Vendors that specify years are saying they don't fit a 2012 328i but they do fit a 2013 and up?? Other vendors including ecs and bimmerworld don't specify year, they just say they fit F30. If I load 2012 328i into tirerack, 48-229012 doesn't come up as available, but if I load 2013 in it does. WTF?
The reason I want that model number is the 10-30mm drop... There wouldn't be a difference in fit from 2012 to 2013 would there? |

I think you can check in RealOem.com if the suspension part on 328i base model 2012 are the same or different with the 2013 one.

2012 was the split year I believe for the 3 series between the E and F series chassis. I always look up a 2013 model year when looking up parts for my car.
I have a 2012 F30 328i Sportline with Bilstein B14's and they fit. |
