If your gut says there's something wrong with it then trust your gut

Where there's a will, there's a way. I don't think it's too easy but like anotheran says, trust your gut.

BMW should have the records for all the services done on it. Those will all have logged mileage as well.
If they don't, yet another reason to tip your hat and back away slowly..... |

I don't know if it's possible to roll back but I do know there's a way to "freeze" the odometer. It's basically this chip you put in the car that stops the odometer from logging miles.
I know because I know someone with an m5 that does it.

I have a friend claimed he rolled back the odometer by his bro-in-law on his Evoque and now planning to do the same on his GLC300. I called him bluff.

My friend got his odometer "freezed" with a module placed in his car, can you bring it in for service or is this detectable?

Nothing is impossible. If a car seems fishy just walk away. Even if the 19k miles is true, you don't want to buy a car with 19k miles on it that looks, feels and drives like it has 80k miles. A car with 19k miles on it should look and feel almost new (a few scratches and chips here and there and that's it).

That was my thinking but i didnt want to over state the truth just in case. I figured that if someone wanted to know the truth they would research their own state.

I drove one in the BMW event last year. while it sounds nice for a hybrid, it doesn't feel faster than my 340i. and the steering is too light even in sport mode. Getting in and out of the car is pain in the ass. I'd take the M3 over it personally and keep the change.
