New pads and rotors. Now clicking

Just had installed new pads and rotors. Centric brand slotted front and blank rear. Now when I drive I can faintly hear a clicking and when I hit the brakes it's much louder. Took it back to the shop and the first guy couldn't hear it. Got a second guy and he could. Said it sounded like baseball cards in the spokes. They were closing so I have to go back another day.

Anyone else have this issue? 2012 335i

M Performance dimpled and slotted rotors also click. It's just the noise air makes as it goes through the slots.

Yeah if they threw the torque wrench out the window and just went ham with the impact gun...

Some slotted rotors are very noisy. We have had customer supplied slotted rotors they bought online that sounded like rotor blades on a chopper coming from a high speed stop. Swapped them out with a quality brand and noise is gone.

Have you properly bed in the pads? Leading edges of the pad backing plate and caliper contact points coated with proper brake paste?

I did. Just went ahead and ordered some zimmerman rotors. Hopefully this solves the problem. Should be installed Monday. Fingers crossed

Zimmerman was very popular for the E9x guys with no issues reported. I am confident that you are good to go!
