OTA Update

I had a map update OTA just a few weeks ago.

The car did another one today.

Did anyone else have this?

Mine updated today too but I didn't notice one any other time in the last 3 months or so

How do you know it's updating? Does it come up with a message asking you if you wish to continue etc?

You'll see a percentage figure on the screen while its downloading, then a message asking if you want to use the new data no or later.

Mine did this again today. Only updated very recently though via OTA. Never had two that close together before

...they're like buses. You don't get one for ages and then two come at once!

Mines still on 2017-1 map. Saw a message on the iDrive screen about a month ago about updating to 2017-2 but nothing has happened since. Is there any way to force an OTA update?

My car came with 3 years OTA update subscription, till March 2020. Confirmed in ConnectedDrive.
