Koni sports on EDC

Does anyone see a problem with putting a non-adaptive damper like a koni sport or bilstein b6 on a car with EDC (assuming I code out the EDC)? Anybody actually done something like this?

I have Dinan springs, but looking for a more predictable ride.

Ive replaced edc with b6, no regrets so far, a more predictable ride it does give. Just not too much drop or youll run out of suspension travel on rougher bits of road.

You didn't get an error message? Or did you get it coded off?

When you replaced the dampers with the b6, did you get any improvement in traction during acceleration? My car (435i RWD) breaks loose very easily, but I'm not sure if it's because of these soft dampers.

I used the kw edc cancellation kit with no error messages. Ive got esys but couldn't get enough info at the time to code out with confidence, plus wasn't sure if i'd immediately regret the b6's wondering what the hell did I do that for and want to change straight back to edc.

I'm x drive so no traction issues. I can imagine some improvement from dampers with rwd but wouldn't think it will be a game changer.

What's the part number on kw or where you order from? I'm thinking of getting bilstein b14+ kw edc delete module

No, not at all. Koni will be an improvement over your OEM dampers. You will either need to code out EDC or run an emulator.

Any recommendations for someone to code out the EDC, I heard it can be done remotely?
