Would you buy USED KW V1 coilovers?

Saw a set for sale with "8,000" miles on them. Is it risky to buy used coilovers? How long are these things good for?

It all depends on how hard those 8K miles where. Call me lucky, but virtually every coils I have purchased, have been used and they all performed just as good as new. Would I buy used coils again, yes, in a heart beat but I would inspect the seals for leaks and make sure all four corners compress/rebound evenly.

On a side note, I'm local, let me know if you need these installed. :-)

8,000 miles is nothing unless they were all track miles (or off road miles). I put 30,000 very abusive miles on my KW V1s, lots of track, autocross, and canyon driving, and they still felt great when I got rid of the car.

Cool! What's a ball park cost to install? I would need an alignment too right? Can you do that too?
