use both navigation and Cd at the same time.

Hello.

I have ordered my 318dt and delivery date is week 15.

I have ordered business navigation with it and there is one thing I wonder about.

On professional NAV you have two slots, aone for DVD(nav9 and other for cd.

But on business , as far as I can tell tehre is only one slott,..
does that mean taht you have to choose what to use.

Is it possible to play cd while using navigation on business unit?
If not it it totally screwd up.

One more thing, on description it says that navigation has two tuners?

What does that mean?

wnyone who has business navigation who can help me?

From my understanding the business navigation has a built-in. When you enter an address it will ask you for the navigation disc and will copy all the data into the memory buffer. You can then eject the nav-disc and insert the audio disc. Since the business nav does not have the map it does not need the disc to be present all the time.

OK.

thanks for the reply.

so that means that In business unit, when you request and adress, the disc does not have to be in the slot?

I got scared, thought that the nnavdisc needs to be present all the time while using NAV,.
But i guess it does have an internal memory to use instead.

thanks for the clarification.

my other question:

Spec here in norway says that both pro and bus. units have 2 tuners?

What is this for?
radio?

What is it good for?
