Dinan Springs Install Cost

I decided on Dinan springs for my 328 xdrive. They seem to have a nice tradeoff on ride height, handling, and ride quality.

Anyway, the dealer wants 1000+ for the install. They assured me that Dinan's installation hours are not inflated and sometimes even a little shy.

Another Dinan installer wants 700ish

A non-authorized Dinan speed shop that has done these for someone on this forum in the past wants 300ish.

Alignment extra....needed?

What is a reasonable price? Is an authorized installer necessary?

I'm not familiar with xdrive but I don't see how the install is any different from rwd. I payed around $300 for H&R springs installed including alignment

$1000+ USD is high, should be closer to $700 at most.

Alignment is extra. You should get the alignment since there is a drop and the camber is different

I'm also from NJ, I paid $810 for install, and $190 for alignment on my 2016 340i drive
