19x9" / 19x10"

Hi all,

I'm looking for opinions and personal experience on the following set-up (for a 2007 E90 M Sport lowered very slightly on a B12 kit):

19x9" - 235/35R19
19x10" - 265/30R19

I like the idea of staying within 1% of the stock rolling circumference which the above set-up will achieve, but I'm a little worried about the stretch factor as I know most people are running an 8.5/9.5" wheel with this combo. I think the 245/275 combo is about 1.7% larger than stock, and while not a major, there are also weight considerations with the larger tire size.

Would a PSS with its fatter build offset the stretch from running a 265 section on a 10" wheel?

Thanks,
Rob

That is hardly a stretch by any means. You'll be fine. And yes PSS runs a bit wider than most.

I run a 19x10 +25 setup square, with 265/30/19's, and there's no stretch. You may need a mild fender roll on the back, depending on your offset.

I'll been replacing tires with Michelin PSS in about a week. Hopefully this gives you some what of an idea.

Thanks! I'll post some shots with the same angles once the 265/30/19 PSS's are mounted so you can compare between the two and have a better idea.

I have the same issue

I'd too like to see what the PSS would look like.
I have the same stretched look problem with my hankooks on both front and rear. id like to go to a tire that doesnt do that or up to a 245 and 275 font and rears if they fit and get rid of the stretch look.
19x9 et 35 front
19-10 et 35 rear
if anyone else can chime in to lets us know what fits best without the stretch look, that would be great and thank you

Michelin PSS - 265/35/19 - 19x10 et25
Definitely a difference. Barely clears my shaved fenders but works without any rubbing. Looks a lot less stretched than Hankook with a cleaner look imo

yeah it all depends on the offset. tyrestretch.com is great to see real life amounts of stretch.
you can max out rear camber to fit it easier also.

How much camber are you running? I'm running 19x10 +25 265/30/19 on LM's as well and I'm rubbing slightly on bumps.

No, those specs are just for the rear.
