Bilstein B16 installation question

http://cart.bilsteinus.com/pdfs/E4-WM4-Y650A00.pdf

This guide (second to last page) clearly shows a Bilstein washer going on the top hat of the rear strut... problem is no washer was supplied, just the nut. Washers were supplied for the fronts, but none on the rears. The OEM uses a flange nut on the rears, no washer.

Should I use the supplied nut with no washer? Or the OEM flange nut? I found a few pictures online of the same rears being unboxed and they don't have washers either. Is it supposed to be installed with no washer??

It's best to call Bilstein USA and confirm installation procedures. I called them in the past. Very helpful.

Mine didn't come with a washer either. I went to the local hardware store and got a sheet of rubber. I cut out my own washers.

I ended up calling them just a few minutes after I posted the question. They said that there should be washers and they will send me some. But since I was in the middle of the install he said it's ok to re-use the OEM flange nut, but use some loctite on it since it's not a lock-nut.
