Anyone out there running a Pure Turbo upgrade for the B58? If so, how is it? What other mods? Dyno?

I ordered it February 1st. Still waiting for it to come in. I spoke to pure and he told me that I was about the first of the 10 that were ordered so not too many out there.

Does it make since though since there is currently no way around the fueling limitations so the Pure turbo modification can't be fully utilized.

edit: Nevermind, you could always do meth injection to get around it.

Either way, it can still take added boost better than a stock turbo, making stronger power and a better hp/tq curve correct?

if you don't have meth don't bother. Your at fueling limit with a dp,intake, map 2. Stage 1 will add 50 hp with proper fueling/tuning.

The upgrade is pointless without extra fuel to take advantage of it. Regardless a fuel cap will limit you regardless of your upgrades. You can only run so must boost and timing before trims are maxed and the car automatically retards timing and lowers targets.

PURE seems to think you WILL get a boost (np pun) from the upgraded turbo on stock
Wouldn't putting one on stock be like slapping on a lesser version of JB+ or Dinan sport?

Regardless you can't make more than 400whp without additional fuel to bandaid the problem.

"Hi Peter,

The stage1 upgrade will bring you another 50 hp over stock turbo and an even nicer topend. It will also be the max possible on the current fuel setup with dual CM7.
Now it’s waiting till the fuelling limits will be removed. For now it makes no sense to make a stage2 as there is no fuelling for it.

Let me know if you want to proceed with ordering a stage1 upgrade.

With dual CM7... which indicates meth. 30hp referred to a stock tune I believe.

ECU can inject fuel up to the fuel cap as mentioned above.

If f u e l it or a company like that comes up with a new fueling system will that outsmart or override the fuel cap? Sorry I'm no mechanic so that may be a dumb question.
