Tire transportation

Whats the best way to transport your track tires in the 235?

Figured someone already tried all options and has a good suggestion.

235x40x18 x 4.

I figured 2 in rear seat, 1 in trunk, 1 in front seat worst case.
Maybe i can get all 4 in rear if i take the bottom cushion out?

What have you done in the past?

Had the dealer install new snow tires last fall.
The summer tires fit in the back, no worries. Bag 'em and stack 'em.
Standing up, if I remember, but it's not a tight fit.

I got four 255/35r18s across the back standing up, no problem, with the seats up, rear cushion in place.

i go through 2-3 sets per season. same with rotors and brake pads.
figure 6 days, or 6 hours on track per set.

I got 23 days in last year, might be a little less this year since wife tells me I need to save for house.

I already have a set of nt05s on apex's im going to try out.
And got my pfc 08s ready to go.

For track days I load up the back seat, flip down the rear and cover with a tarp. 3 wheels standing left to right behind the passenger seat, 1 lies flat behind driver seat for a snug fit side to side. Then I slide the passenger seat back up against the vertical wheels to keep them from shifting back and forth.
Leaving the trunk wide open for other goodies.

I'm quite impressed with how much the 2 can fit.

Rear seats up - 4 wheels and tires side by side standing upright. It's a perfect fit. Adjust both front seat backs to hold all 4 tires in place.
