Nitto Neo Gen Tires

Has anyone had any experience or heard anything about these tires? I'm getting a new summer wheel & tire package, and the place is all out of FK 452's, doesn't have General Exclaim UHP, and I don't want to splurge on the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 or Michelin PS2's.

Any help is appreciated. I really want to get my winters off ASAP!

Neo Gen are performance level tires from Nitto.
FK452's would have been better, but at the price of these tires, ~90 each, they're a good buy.

They remind me of the Vredestein tires designed by Giugaro.

Thanks for the response! Have you actually heard anything about them though? Are they any good?

I don't believe they're all season? I thought they were considered summer performance.

These should be very good tires. I'm quite happy with the Nitto tires I'm running myself, however I'm running the more expensive Invos.

Well I just told him that I'll take them. Not too expensive, so I'll see how they are and do a review.

I tried googling the tires, but there are very few reviews on this tire. The only somewhat good thing I saw was that they placed 2nd place in a Consumer's Report tire comparison. But I don't always trust Consumer's report.

I had a set on my Acura RSX Type-S and loved them, great grip and handling and a very confidence instilling tire. Really good handling in the rain with minimal road noise. I'd say that bang for the buck is really up there and they are an under appreciated tire. I have Falken Ziex 912's on my VW GTI and would take the Nitto's over them any day. Once my RFT's need to be replaced on the Z4 the Neo Gen's or the General Exclaim UHP will be going on, both really good value for the money in my eyes.

Appreciate your response nadaclue. I just had the tires installed yesterday, so hopefully I'll have a review in a few months. So far so good though!
