Oops!

So cleaning the car today I noticed something had come loose, not the debadging I had planned!

Any tips for putting it back on? Doesn't appear to have been held on by much in the first place, was tempted to use old fashioned super glue?!

@CazuaLLUK booked in for the 8th. Said it would be covered under warranty if no tampering evident as car is no age(3 months). So will keep fingers crossed and update once it's been in.

I'm wondering if moisture is getting underneath and freezing in the recent cold spell. Forcing the logo off?

There's so little evidence of any bonding that I'm wondering if just a bad batch knocked up with little or no adhesive. I don't suppose the dealer will have any tangible answers.

They wanted me there for an hour and a half for wash and clean too, obviously not going for that. I'd be surprised if it's any longer that 10 mins too.

I hope they know what they are doing and prep the surfaces with isopropanol, then use a suitable epoxy resin that can withstand cold temp and not degrade.

My car is only 4 months old. Must have been a dodgy batch!

He should keep the old one as a souvenir.

I hope they stick the new one on straight.

Thinking of turning it into a necklace

New badge is better option than trying to repair for that exact reason, I though about repairing it myself but would never be straight and would bug me forever!

All done under warranty, new badge, they said they had a 1er with missing badge earlier in the week so there is dodgy batch going round!

Just in time too, worried people didn't know what I was driving
